Monthly video call. An introduction to techniques and the opportunity to experience how art can lead you into a profound relationship with the essence of each plant.

DEVELOPING A VISION FOR A NEW

SCHOOL OF BOTANICAL ARTS

I would like to invite other artists working in the field of botanical art, plant science, botany, medicinal plants, flowers and herbalism, permaculture, ecology, environmental art therapy and eco-psychology to come together and collaborate. If this is of interest please contact me artsbotanical@gmail.com

Each course and offering should acknowledge the ability of the artist to encounter or experience in some form the plants qualities, abilities, personality or medicinal properties through the artistic process. This is integral to the school´s vision to deepen our communication and connection to the Earth.

Adult courses should be open to everyone, and the vision is to develop a funding programme of outreach activity for younger adults in order to establish and normalise how art is a tool for scientific and imaginative ways to communicate with the world.
